Meet the Founder…
Victoria French, MA, LPC-A, is a licensed professional counselor, doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision, and the founder of the Porch Project. She practices at Point of Hope Counseling in the Columbia, South Carolina, where she works with women navigating anxiety, identity, and the quiet exhaustion of carrying too much.
Victoria founded the Porch Project from a conviction that the most essential dimensions of counselor formation — being genuinely known, developing an honest professional identity, and learning to offer genuine presence to clients — happen in relational community, not only in supervision or coursework. The program draws on Relational-Cultural Theory and a Trinitarian framework for understanding human formation and flourishing. She enjoys presenting at conferences where she can share her passion for developing self-compassion, professional identity formation, and spiritual formation.
The Porch Project was born from the conviction that human flourishing happens best in growth-fostering connections that celebrate diversity and individuality. We are so glad you are here!
